It seems there is a compatibility issue with Dawsonera eBooks and some older version of the IE (Internet Explorer) web browser. When you try and download ebooks, the yellow downloads bar in IE appears but when you click on that to permit the download, the screen just flashes and the file is never downloaded.

This problem may occur on on-campus PCs that have Internet Explorer 8 installed.

Workarounds: 

Use the Read Online option in Dawsonera. 

If you are off campus or have admin rights on your PC, download a newer version of the Internet Explorer browser eg IE 11.

If using a PC on campus or you do not have admin rights to your PC, use a different web browser such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. Both browsers should be installed on all on-campus PCs
