If you are having trouble accessing Westlaw off-campus, make sure that Cookies are enabled on your PC. (Note: A “cookie” is a small amount of information that a web site copies to your hard disk. A cookie can help a web site identify you the next time you visit.)
When logging in, if you receive an error message, please delete your cookies and temporary Internet files (cache) and try again.
Any problems with this database should be referred to the library staff, email firstname.lastname@example.org If they are unavailable and you continue to have problems accessing Westlaw, please use this freephone number to contact the Westlaw helpdesk team directly: 0800 028 2200. They should be able to resolve your problem.
NB There is currently a glitch in the Westlaw web site. If you log into Westlaw but remain inactive for 30 minutes, the site will automatically log you out. You can NOT click on the Begin a new Westlaw UK research session link that appears in order to re-log in because it takes you to an error page. Instead, please re-access Westlaw via a link on the Library web site or catalogue. Westlaw are aware of this problem and hope to have it fixed soon.
Linking to Westlaw content from Justcite
We have noticed that there are problems linking to Westlaw from Justcite. We're looking into improving this feature, but in the meantime, link to Westlaw via the link on the Library website and use Westlaw's search to find the content you need.
