Many of Manchester Metropolitan University Library's research databases such as Web of Science and search tools such as Library Search will work with EndNote. This means you can use the database to discover a reference to a book or article and then export that reference to EndNote. It can save you time, as you do not have to enter all the information about that reference into EndNote manually.  

Each database or search tool works slightly differently though, so we've written instructions to help you. Here's where you'll find them on our website:

Next to many of the links to databases on the Library website, there is a little question mark icon (screenshot below) this links you to the database helpguide for that database.

If EndNote works with a database, the database help guide will have an EndNote tab (screenshot below). Select this to open a page containing instructions about how to use EndNote with the database.
