Q. Does Manchester Metropolitan University Library use OpenAthens?

The Library does not use OpenAthens. Instead, we use EZProxy and Institutional Login via the UK Federation/Shibboleth to enable you to log in to our subscribed ebooks, ejournals and other online services with your University ID and password. 

Some students on NHS funded courses can access NHS funded online resources using an NHS Athens account. Please email library@mmu.ac.uk if you are a student on an NHS funded course and wish to create an NHS Athens account.
