Q. Why can't I renew my library book?

At present, items checked out on your account will auto-renew on a rolling basis.

If another student places a hold on an item, it will be recalled and you will receive an email requesting you to return the item.

Your loans will also not automatically renew if:

• The item has been reserved by somebody else.
• Your account is blocked because of very overdue books.
• You have outstanding university fees
