You can use the Manchester Met EZproxy Bookmarklet to log in directly from publishers' sites if you have not accessed them via the Library website.

In Edge on Windows 10: it must be installed manually, following some simple steps that can be found on How-To Geek.

In Firefox: click and drag this MMU EZProxy bookmarklet link to your bookmarks toolbar or right click on the link and select Bookmark This Link.

In Safari or Google Chrome: click and drag this MMU EZProxy bookmarklet link to your bookmarks bar.

Note: JavaScript must be enabled in your browser.

Please note that while the bookmarklet can be installed and used in a tablet or phone browser, the installation process is not straightforward, and we are unable to support it.

Once you are on a page that is restricted, click on the MMU EZproxy bookmarklet in your browser's toolbar and you will be redirected through the MMU proxy server for the page you are currently at. In some cases you may need to use the browser Back button to return to the resource URL, not the publisher's login/error page.

Licensed content is provided by a number of suppliers and some content may not be purchased directly from the source you are using. In this case you will need to start from Library Search, our database list or the Library Catalogue from the Library website.

The code for our EZproxy bookmarklet was generated using Philip Wolstenholme's bookmarklet generator.
