The systems which let you use your Manchester Met ID to log into most of our online services use secure connections, and browsers sometimes don't recognise the certificates used to set up the connection.

The solution to this is to accept our certificates, and if possible add them to your browser/computer's certificate store so your browser accepts them automatically in future.

Precisely how this is accomplished varies between computers/devices and browsers/browser versions.

Please note that we simply can't support all browser and security software functions and combinations when it comes to certificate and other settings. All we can do in practice is advise you to accept our certificates and refer you to your software's online help and instruction manual for the finer points of certificate management.
