Depositing the right version of your article will ensure that you meet the REF open access requirements and comply with publisher open access policies. To be compliant for the REF and green open access you will need to deposit the author accepted manuscript (also known as post-print and AAM) in Symplectic. This is the final version of your paper after peer review and corrections made that has been accepted for publication but prior to the copy-editing and publisher formatting stage. Authors funded by either UKRI or COAF should also make their article gold open access. If your article has been published as gold open access you are still required to deposit the author accepted manuscript and replace it with the final published version on publication. Further in formation in the Open access guide. For help on how to recognise the author accepted manuscript please see the file at the end of this answer.
