This is an ongoing issue that Emerald are currently working on whilst they update their platform. (July 2019)
If you follow a link from Library Search or ejournals A-Z you may find that the screen will say Welcome Guest and you will not be able to open any articles.
To solve this problem, click on Reset Authentication (usually at the top of the page). This will then reset the browser - you will now receive a Welcome Manchester Metropolitan University message and you will need to search for your article again in the search box that appears. This and any other articles should now open.
(N.B. If you follow a link when you have previously had an Emerald session you will probably have no log in problems at all).
