  • ReVIEW - provides full text of 19th and early 20th century art journals
  • Arts + Architecture ProFILES - biographical data on over 35,000 artists, architects, craftspeople and designers
  • Design Abstracts Retrospective - abstracts from architecture and design journals published between 1900-1986
  • Research Sources: 1. British & Irish Architecture and Decorative and Applied Arts 1850s to the 1930s - This is an ongoing project to digitize every book, exhibition catalogue, pamphlet and conference paper, as well as much of the journal literature published in Britain and Ireland during the late nineteenth century and early years of the twentieth century
  • Research Sources: 2. The Poster - images and extensive information on the history of the Poster

Biographical Dictionary of British and Irish Architects 1800-1950

This is a free to access, online biographical dictionary of architects working in all the four nations of the UK, plus the Republic of Ireland. The Dictionary currently contains approximately 3,000 entries. About a further 6,000 names are waiting in the wings to be added.
