When you import references containing words in foreign languages, you may find that accents are sometimes replaced by other symbols, for example the double acute accent used in Hungarian is replaced by a question mark.
Unfortunately there is no easy way around this, other than to edit the reference in EndNote by replacing the wrongly transcribed symbol with the correct letter and accent. In the case of the double acute accent in Hungarian, for example, this can be recreated by pressing Alt and 0245. Keyboard codes for use with a variety of accents and symbols can be found online, eg Tools for Linguistic Word Processing.
