There could be a number of reasons, please check these common reasons:

You may only download one eBook at a time.

You may already have downloaded an eBook that has not expired yet. Once you have downloaded an ebook from MyiLibrary, you cannot return it before the end of the three-day download period. To check if you have an eBook downloaded, on the MyiLibrary website select My Account to check your bookshelf.

Are you using a university on-campus PC or university laptop?

MyiLibrary requires Adobe Digital Editions to read downloaded eBooks, this software is not suitable for use on shared networked PCs such as those in the Library or PC zones. On campus you don't need to download the eBook as you can read it online.  

Do you have the additional software required to read downloaded eBooks on your personal device?

Copy may already be in use.

The downloadable copies may already have been downloaded by other users. You can still read it online. If the read online title is also unavailable because someone else is using it, try again in 15 minutes.

Publisher restrictions.

Not all MyiLibrary eBook titles are available for download. MyiLibrary consistently work with publishers attempting to make titles in their inventory available for download. Not all titles may be available to download, but the number of downloadable titles increases daily.
