Not all eBooks are available for download, some publishers restrict it and only allow their eBooks to be Read Online.
The eBook could be in heavy demand. This means you can Read Online but cannot download. This is to make the eBook available to more people. In time of very high demand, you may have to wait for other users to finish and try again after 15 minutes.
Are you having technical problems actually downloading the eBook?
Downloading to a mobile device:
- is your device compatible with Adobe Digital Editions? Compatible devices Kindles are not compatible.
- have you installed the Bluefire Reader app available free from Apple app store or Google Play? Some eBook suppliers eg VLeBooks have their own app.
Downloading to a PC/Laptop:
- you cannot download to Manchester Met campus PCs or Manchester Met laptops. Use Read Online to view the eBook online.
