You may see a stale request page if you are logging in to a library eBook, eJournal or other eResource and press the back button on your browser from the log in page.
The log in page appears when you click to use one of our eResources eg when clicking the Full Text online link in Library Search. It connects to the library eResource logging in system, which checks you're a valid Manchester Met member of staff or student and then logs you in to the eResource you want to use. If you click the back button from the logging in page, it can't take you back anywhere as the page was created just to help you log in, so it gives the stale request page.
Sometimes, your web browser remembers this page and keeps showing it to you when you want to log in. Clearing your web browser's cache and cookies usually fixes this.
