Check the Library catalogue, enter the title of the book, and/or the author surname. Check the location and availability of the book you want. If it is available in your local site library, note down the shelfmark eg 370.152/COT, then look for the signs in the Library that tell you where the books with that shelfmark number are kept.
At All Saints Library for example, the books within the shelfmark range 330-399 are kept on the ground floor west wing and at the Crewe Library the books within the shelfmark range 000-399 are kept on the ground floor.

If you have any problems finding a book on the shelves please ask a member of Library staff at the Library help desk.
If the book you require is already on loan to another borrower, use our reservation system to reserve it. If the Library does not own a copy of the book, use our Inter-library loan service to obtain it from another library.
